Something mysterious happened to Cheney in his years at Halliburton, and no one's really identified it. Under Reagan and Bush Senior, he was a serious-minded fiscal conservative. But during the Clinton years, he turned mean and nasty. Was it implementing Halliburton corporate policies? Finding out his daughter was a lesbian? I don't know, but the man turned into a despicable, cruel person.
During some months off from huffing, I found myself shifting perspective in regard to world events. So I am coming back to this blog now to "puff" little hopeful breaths into the world about the problems we face. Not to be a Pollyanna, but in a spirit of positive change.

Amazing that they heard anything at all! Maybe some day we will have a stethoscope that will detect a person's conscience. :)
